Environmental Policy
We are committed to reducing our ecological footprint. To achieve this, we continuously improve processes, products, and services, striving to always exceed expectations. This policy outlines the principles that form the framework for achieving our goals.
Principles
Resource Minimization We aim to use resources (energy, machinery, vehicles, premises, etc.) in a long-term sustainable manner. Environmentally friendly heating alternatives and energy performance are considered when selecting premises. We also strive to avoid wasting water, heat, etc.
Vehicles used are optimized for reduced emissions and optimized wear/maintenance. Fuel is primarily electricity, but diesel is accepted for longer distances where the range is limited for electric vehicles. The vehicle fleet is regularly renewed and serviced to minimize emissions and environmental impact over time.
Electricity, which is crucial for our operating environment, office, vehicles, and all other activities, is purchased as a mix of hydropower, solar power, and wind power. Our server environment is almost fully virtualized (green IT), creating resource efficiency.
We strive to solve and fix problems remotely as a natural part of our work methodology. This increases efficiency while reducing our environmental footprint. During customer visits, the use of our electric vehicles is prioritized unless range limitations apply.
Recycling
As far as possible, equipment is reused to reduce the environmental impact of both us and our customers. When equipment reaches the end of its life cycle and is decommissioned, it is recycled through local partners.
Packaging materials are sorted and recycled according to the manufacturer's/customer's instructions.
Improvement
As development continues and technology improves, we embrace these changes and adapt our working methods to reduce our environmental/climate impact. Suggestions for improvements may come from staff, the board, customers, and the public. The board is responsible for evaluating and implementing new methods and strategies to improve this environmental policy and its compliance.
